Shown below is detailed information and a selection of screenshots taken from the Photo Galleries sections of the Baby's Days software system.

Key Areas of the Photo Gallery section:
- Upload an unlimited number of photographs for every child on your system.
- Add an Audio clip to every photograph you upload to the system. Click here for more information.
- Photographs are uploaded to your system using Super Fast Upload Technology.
- Every Child on the system has a Diary, Progress and General Photo Gallery.
- All the photographs that have ever been uploaded for each Child are shown within their respective photo galleries.
- Comments can be left on any photograph by Administrators or the parents of the Child.
- You can delete or edit any photograph on the system.
Every Photograph that you upload to the system can have it's own unique Audio clip recorded onto it, either you or the children you care for can record the audio, when you or the parents view the Galleries and see the photographs, they can also listen to the Audio clip that was recorded onto the photograph, more information regarding Audio clips on Photographs, can be found by following this link.

3 Galleries for every Child

Every child has 3x Galleries:

Every child on the system has three individual photo galleries, each gallery contains only the photos that were uploaded for them, all the photographs are displayed in each gallery in date order with the most recently uploaded photographs being displayed first.
There are no limits on the number of photographs that can uploaded for any child and each gallery is detailed below:
Diary Gallery.
Every photograph that has ever been upload to the child's diaries will be displayed within this Gallery, photographs within the Diary Gallery are displayed in the Year and Month folder that the Diary was originally created, for example photographs uploaded to a Diary created on 1st April 2010 will be found in the Year: 2010 and Month: April folder.
Progress Gallery.
Every photograph that has ever been upload to the child's Progress will be displayed within this Gallery, photographs within the Progress Gallery are displayed within the Development Area they were originally uploaded to ie CD, CLL, PD etc
General Gallery.
The general gallery allows you to upload photographs that you did not upload to the Child's Diary or do not want to add to their Progress section, photographs within the General Gallery are displayed in the Year and Month folder that they were uploaded, for example photographs uploaded to on 1st April 2010 will be found in the Year: 2010 and Month: April folder.

To view any child's Galleries, simply select the gallery to view either Diary, Progress or General and then select the area of each gallery, in this screenshot the top image shows that 2 photographs have been uploaded to Diaries in April 2010, the second image shows that 2 photographs have been uploaded to the child's CD Progress and 6 photographs have been uploaded to the child's CLL progress, the bottom image allows you to view the child's general gallery or upload photographs to it. |

On each main gallery page, photographs are listed in the order they were uploaded, each gallery displays one main photograph along with the title and description of the photograph, the date the photograph was uploaded, the current age of the child and the age of the child when the photograph was uploaded.
All the photographs within each gallery are displayed as small thumbnails, clicking on each of these will switch the main image on the page, if an Audio clip was recorded onto a photograph this will be visible and able to be played back.
Any photograph can be edited or deleted from the system.

Both administrators and parents can leave comments on any photograph on the system, all comments that have been left will appear with the name of the person who left the comments plus the date and time the comments were left.
Comments for photographs within the Diary gallery can be left within the Diary Gallery or directly from the days diary.
Comments for photographs within the Progress gallery can be left within the Progress Gallery or directly from the child's Progress section. |
